Join us for a ZOOM Webinar on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, for a free “Deciphering Your Irrigation Controller” workshop hosted by California American Water, Monterey Peninsula Water Management District and the Water Awareness Committee. This is part of a series on learning how to design a yard using the principles of watershed-wise landscaping. This webinar focuses on the purpose, potential & programming of irrigation controllers, both manual and weather-based options. We’ll be covering:
- Understanding irrigation’s role in maintaining soil moisture balance
- Reviewing basic terminology and programming for manual controllers
- Outlining the purpose and potential of weather-based controllers
- Identifying special functions such as ‘cycle and soak’
The class is free, but registration is required.
Start time is 6:00 pm. We’ll be opening the doors a few minutes early to make sure you have plenty of time to settle into your technology.
