Join us for a free LIVE Zoom Webinar Thursday, May 11, 2023, on Compost: Building the Soil Sponge, hosted by California American Water, Monterey Peninsula Water Management District, and the Water Awareness Committee of Monterey County. (These webinars are NOT recorded).

Compost plays a crucial role in building the health of the soil and supporting a thriving, drought-resilient landscape. Join us and learn about:

    1. The ‘soil party’ and the relationship between plants and soil
    2. Different types of compost and how to make it
    3. Sheet composting after turf removal
    4. Alternative soil amendments
